The first time I read about Amy Pennington’s new book “Urban Pantry, Tips for a Thrifty, Sustainable, & Seasonable Kitchen” I knew it was the perfect fit for SAVOUR and for our customers. We are at the center of all of urban-land, love food, love recipes, and Amy!

Amy’s book is chocked full of suggestions on shopping, food storage (something anyone living in an old Ballard house can appreciate), canning, and gardening, and Amy’s full of energy. She stopped by the store shortly after we booked the event through Skipstone Press, the Publisher of Urban Pantry, and wowed us with her outgoing personality, ready smile, and enthusiasm for all the goods in our store (she immediately Twittered about our bulk olive oil and balsamic vinegar).
